Volunteer Dental Services at the East Side Dental Clinic

For the past four years, Dr. Bruce Marshall has partnered with the East Side Walk-In Dental Clinic to provide volunteer dental services. Most of the patients that Bruce and the clinic work with are people in recovery, and either living on the street or in shelters – many of whom cannot afford proper dental care. As a result, many of these patients are living with a significant amount of tooth pain during their everyday lives and often haven’t seen a dentist in years.

East Side Walk-In Dental Clinic is part of the non-profit Vancouver Native Health Society. The clinic strives to provide its patients with the utmost care and respect in a comfort-centric environment – a rewarding experience for everyone involved within the initiative, including Bruce. Along with spending some of his Fridays helping at the clinic, Bruce recently donated our Panorex Dental Machine – providing a new piece of equipment for the team.
